Across the river and through the swamp from my family camp?
Just imagining that I feel the last strand of my sanity snap //
How can they expect us not to go crazy?
They work us all to death then say we’re so lazy /
Used to amaze me... Now it enrages me… Go ahead and taze me…
Nothing could shock me at this point… They point with no safety //
We are of the land... So much more than stewards…
But don’t have rights to anything below these mouldy sewers /
We must protect the past… Being squeezed in greeds grasp…
They sugar coat their lies… I spread seeds of sweet grass //
Then wait for the rain to come to raise creeks… The Cheepash
My home land.. Abitibi to the Shipsands… I beat paths /
Then I walk em in my Air Jordan moccasins…
Smudging dollar bills praying one day this will all make sense //

pink pig sucking on a pound of butter… Sniffing the

The eagles and the ravens and the owls above them…
